1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Contact details — name, email address, and (optionally) phone number.
• Business details — gym or organization name and, optionally, city or region.
• Project details — quantity, preferred colors, target date, and notes.
• Uploaded files — logos, brand assets, and inspiration images you send us for concept design.
• Correspondence — messages you send to us by email or through the Site.

We also automatically collect basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps) through standard server logs. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies on the Site.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Prepare and send you a custom wristband concept and quote.
• Communicate with you about your inquiry, order, or project.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services.
• Prevent fraud and abuse and enforce our terms.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to perform their services. These currently include:

• Hosting and database infrastructure providers.
• Transactional email delivery providers used to send confirmations and notifications.
• In the future, payment and invoicing providers (such as Stripe) used to process payments once we begin accepting them on the Site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Chalk & Thread, our customers, or others.

4. Payments

We are preparing to accept payments and issue invoices through Stripe. When payments are enabled, card and payment details will be submitted directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's own privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

5. Data retention

We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, complete your order, meet our record-keeping and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete information at any time and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including access-controlled cloud storage for your uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults operating gyms, teams, and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Your choices

You can request to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing info@chalknthread.com. You can also unsubscribe from any non-transactional emails using the link in the message. Transactional emails related to an active inquiry or order may still be sent.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
